LAID back Liam Trotter has been named in the Championship Team of the Week after his goal-scoring performance for Town at Burnley
Trotter opened the scoring in the 3-0 win at turf Moor despite the kick off being delayed by a parachutist stranded on a stand roof.
Trotter's approach to the 50-minute delay paid off after the midfielder scored the opener at Burnley but did not totally impress manager Jim Magilton.
While both teams did not know what to do as the wait grew longer Trotter simply dozed off in the dressing room.
The Blues boss revealed: “Liam was comatose. We were having kittens and there he was sleeping.”
Trotter netted from a corner to give Town the lead against the run of play but Magilton had mixed feelings about the midfielder's contribution.
“It took Liam 34 minutes to realise he was in a game of football and the goal was the first positive thing he had done.
“So if he can get himself going from the first minute he could be a decent player.”
