Ipswich Town will conclude their Premier League preparations with a friendly fixture at Portman Road against French side OGC Nice.

The Blues will welcome 'Les Aiglons' to Suffolk on Saturday, August 10 for a 12.30pm kick-off.

That will conclude pre-season for Kieran McKenna's men ahead of the big kick-off, against Liverpool at Portman Road, the following Saturday.

Nice finished fifth in Ligue 1 last season to secure a Europa League place. Their top scorers were Terem Moffi and Jeremie Boga, Nigeria and Ivory Coast internationals respectively.

Town's players returned to pre-season training on July 1 and are understood to have played a couple of behind-closed-doors training matches against lower league opponents.

They flew out to Austria on Sunday for the start of a week-long training camp that will conclude with two 60 minute fixtures against Ukranian side Shakhtar Donetsk on Saturday.
