Suffolk superstar Ed Sheeran has received a League One 'promotion medal' ahead of tonight's game between Ipswich Town and Hull City at Portman Road.
The musician, whose new album 'Autumn Variations' has just been released, has been handed the No.17 squad number as part of an ongoing front of shirt sponsorship of his home county club.
After pulling some pints in the Sir Alf Ramsey Stand concourse, Sheeran appeared on TownTV pre-match and was given his 'promotion winners' medal' for 2022/23 by chief executive Mark Ashton.
