Rekeem Harper has seen his contract terminated by Ipswich Town.
Ipswich Town have terminated the contract of midfielder Rekeem Harper.
The 23-year-old midfielder joined the Blues in a £500k deal from West Brom in the summer of 2021, becoming the third of Paul Cook's 19 summer signings under new American ownership.
He partnered Lee Evans for the opening six league games of 2021/22 (D3 L3), but then Sam Morsy was signed and game time became restricted to the odd sub outing and cup start.
Harper spent the second half of the 2021/22 season on loan at Crewe (12 starts) and the entirety of last season at Exeter (16 starts).
An agreement has been reached with the club to prematurely end a contract that still had another year left to run.
