Ipswich Town boss Kieran McKenna has named a strong side for this evening’s FA Cup clash with Buxton.
The Blues face the side sitting 19th in National League North at Portman Road, with the game kicking off at 5pm.
And the Town team is perhaps stronger than expected, with Christian Walton starting in goal behind a back four of Kane Vincent-Young, Richard Keogh, Cameron Burgess and Leif Davis.
Captain Sam Morsy and Cameron Humphreys are in midfield, with Wes Burns, Conor Chaplin and Kyle Edwards playing behind striker Gassan Ahadme, who makes his first Ipswich start up top.
Janoi Donacien and Fredde Ladapo are not involved, as hinted by McKenna on Friday, while there is no place in the squad for Greg Leigh or Panutche Camara, who started against Portsmouth on Tuesday night.
The visitors, whose assistant manager is former Ipswich midfielder Tommy Miller, name a side including a blend of youth and experience.
Ipswich Town: Walton; Vincent-Young, Keogh, Burgess, Davis; Morsy, Humphreys; Burns, Chaplin, Edwards; Ahadme
Subs: Hladky, Edmundson, Woolfenden, Agbaje, Armin, Siziba, Chirewa, Ward, Jackson
Buxton: Richardson, Conway, Moult, Meikle, Kirby, Elliott, Poole, Brisley, Newton, McKay, Osborne
Subs: Hudson, Granite, De Girolamo, Gilchrist, Tasdemir, Bunn, Boden, Sherwood, Sargent
