Ipswich Hockey Club’s women’s first team welcome Maidstone to Suffolk tomorrow looking to get back to winning ways after being held to a draw last weekend.
Ipswich make one change to the squad. India Goodman coming back in for Rosie Jackson, who is unavailable.
Despite the annoyance at dropping points in a 2-2 draw with City of Peterborough last week – a game they dominated – Ipswich will be sticking to their patterns of play that created so many chances.
“The only thing we didn’t do well last week was finish our chances” said coach Mariette Rix.
“We played some great hockey and dominated large spells of the match but on Saturday I want us to try and be more ruthless in front of goal.”
Ipswich opponents have had a mixed start, winning two of the five games played but Rix will ensure the team do not take them lightly.
The match starts at 2pm at Tuddenham Road.
