All landfill sites and household waste and recycling centres in the county have been closed until at least lunchtime by Suffolk County Council.

Ipswich Borough Council said because of the decision to close the recycling centres bin collections had been suspended. The council asked residents to leaves bins out until tomorrow when it would endeavour to complete the collections.
Meanwhile all parks in Ipswich have been closed because of blustery conditions.
It is the second time in three days that the parks have been closed. They were shut on Monday, also as a result of high winds.
