There were severe delays on the A14 outside Ipswich due to a broken-down vehicle earlier today.
Officers were called to the stricken vehicle near the Whitehouse turn-off at about 8am.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said the vehicle broke down close to the turn-off but was partially blocking one lane.
According to the AA Traffic Map there was long delays on the westbound carriageway.
