Part of the A14 was blocked after a car crashed into the central reservation.
Police were called just after 1.50pm to the eastbound carriageway after receiving reports of a single vehicle crash on the stretch between Felixstowe and Nacton.
Part of the carriageway was blocked and the AA road traffic map reported delays from Seven Hills to the High Road slip road.
A spokesman for Suffolk Police said: "The crash happened halfway between Felixstowe and the Nacton turnoff."
Suffolk police said the status of injuries is currently unknown.
The AA road traffic map reports the road as clear.
