A new light trail has opened in an Ipswich park in the run-up to Christmas.

Over the next month Holywells Park will be lit up with bright colours due to the Illuminate light trail.

It opened on November 29 and is meant to last around 60 to 70 minutes in length.

The trail also features a food and drinks court half way through where those attending can buy a selection of drinks, hot food and sweet treats.

There is also marshmallow toasting available and entertainment throughout, as well as sheltered and seated sections.

The trail is open until December 29, opening during the hours of 4pm to 8pm every day.
