A man has spoken of his despair after his vehicle was damaged in what described as a "targeted" attack in an Ipswich residential street.
The black Volkswagen was vandalised on Thursday, November 28. The happened at some point between 4am and 5.15am in Washington Close, near Hawes Street.
The vandalism to Antonio Bors' car was reported to police at 1.10pm on Thursday.
A spokesperson for Suffolk police said a brick cracked the window screen and it caused damage to the inside of the car.
Mr Bors believes his car was deliberately damaged and called for witnesses to come forward.
He said: "What I could say is that the individual came purposely to damage my car - quite a few neighbours had indeed spotted him going inside garages and checking car registrations.
"The case has been forwarded with the police with quite a lot of footage provided for them to work from.
"I believe there has been an increase in criminal activity in this area, but as community we are working hard to prevent any further acts.
"This was a targeted attack as we can see from the footage provided and now we are hoping that the police won't let us down.
"This act has not just annoyed me but quite allot of our neighbours due to the fact that it could have been any of their cars."
Police are now appealing for anyone with information related to the incident on Thursday morning to come forward.
Anyone with information is urged to contact officers at Suffolk police, quoting CAD 155 of November 28.
