An Ipswich man has been ordered to pay over £400 after pleading guilty to possessing and importing multiple drugs and having three stun guns.

Rory Webb, 44, of Orchid Close, appeared at Suffolk Magistrates Court on Monday, after being charged with multiple counts of improper importation of controlled Class A and B drugs, possession of Class B and C drugs, failing to provide a sample for drug testing and possessing a weapon, namely stun guns.

Prosecutor Rose Edwin told the court the first incident took place on September 18 last year, when border forces in the Netherlands found packages with LSD and ketamine being sent to Webb.

After this on October 15, 2023, the police searched Webb's house where they found three stun guns, amphetamine and methandienone - and the 44-year-old refused to give a sample for drug testing.

In July this year, Webb pleaded guilty to the charges and the case was adjourned for a pre-sentencing report to be prepared.

In mitigation, his representative David Allan said: "Due to his mental health, Mr Webb doesn't leave his house much other than to meet his grandmother, but this has become worse since she died in June.

"Now he just leaves his house for court dates."
