Firefighters attended to the scene as an oil heater was on fire in a home in Ipswich.
The Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service was called at 11.49am on Friday to reports of a house fire in Ellenbrook Green.
Three appliances attended, with two being from Princes Street and the other from Ipswich East.
The fire was in an oil heater on the ground floor of the property, Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said..
Two firefighters who were wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish the blaze.
Then portable ventilation equipment was used to disperse the smoke.
The police and ambulance were also at the scene.
Everyone in the house were accounted for and no one was injured, the fire service confirmed.
