The air ambulance was called to a serious crash involving a pedestrian in a Suffolk town.
Emergency services were called to Church Road in Felixstowe at about 2.35pm on Tuesday.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said a pedestrian and vehicle were involved in the crash.
The road was closed and the air ambulance landed nearby.
The spokesman confirmed that the pedestrian had suffered injuries and was taken to hospital.
There were some delays in the area, according to the AA Traffic Map.
