Four men have been arrested after an early morning burglary from an Ipswich business.

Police were called just before 1am this morning to the Hadleigh Road industrial estate after reports of a burglary in progress.

It was reported that entry had been forced into a unit on the estate and a large quantity of cigarettes were stolen from inside.

Officers found a vehicle at the Copdock Interchange retail park which they suspected to have been used during the burglary.

Three men in their 20s and an 18-year-old man were arrested and taken to Martlesham Heath police investigation centre.

The men remain in custody at this time while being questioned by detectives.
