Signs have gone up around the front of Ipswich's Trafalgar House for the new food hall opening potentially next month.

The front of the former Yates has been painted and signs displaying 'Tower Street Food Hall' have gone up and been painted.

The multi-million pound refurbishment of the venue is continuing internally and externally.

In September, it was revealed that the former pub was going to be converted into an indoor food hall serving a variety of foods.

Earlier in the month, this publication was given an exclusive look inside the building to see the progress of the build.

Booths had been created and extraction fans had been installed.

A new glass front door is to be put in.

There is still hope that the food hall will open next month prior to Christmas as LAB Construction Group continues to renovate the building, working around the clock, with owner Aaron Blackwell stating on November 1 that the developer was at the half-way point with the work.
