A teenager from Ipswich who picked up crochet needles for the first time this summer has supported the Royal British Legion through her poppy designs.

Lexi Ambrose, 14, managed to raise £150 in the process for the charity ahead of this year's Remembrance Day.

The teenager only began the hobby in the summer and decided to make the poppies after speaking to one of her uncles.
