A Suffolk charity is organising a session to help people have open and honest conversations about bereavement, end-of-life and loss.
Specialist palliative care charity St Elizabeth Hospice, based in Ipswich, is organising the free-to-attend Compassionate Communities event, which will be taking place at Felixstowe library between 10am and 12pm on Wednesday, November 13.
The session seeks to break down taboos and myths about death and dying, while providing guidance on how people can lend a "friendly ear" to people in the community experiencing grief or loss.

Hugh McElhinney, community engagement manager at the hospice, who leads on Compassionate Communities, said: “We're thrilled to bring Compassionate Conversations to Felixstowe and we're looking forward to offering this support to the local community.
“Compassionate Conversations is a key part of our broader Compassionate Communities initiative.
"Through this program, we partner with the community to encourage open discussions with friends and loved ones about death and to explore how we can all support each other through experiences of death, loss and grief."
