A new winter light trail will be starting soon in an Ipswich park.
The Illuminate light trail in Holywells Park is looking to start setting up in a few weeks, getting ready for the full month of opening from Friday, November 29.
Here is everything you need to know:
How much do tickets cost?
It is encouraged to buy tickets in advance online as sessions often sell out.
Adult tickets start from £11.50, children aged between three and 16 start at £8 and infants enter for free.
Tickets are staggered as super off peak prices, off peak prices and peak prices.
How long will the trail take?
Depending on the weather, the speed you walk and how full the trail session is, the event is expected to take between 60 to 70 minutes to complete.
Are dogs allowed?
Dogs are welcome on the trail on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday throughout Illuminate. Only assistance dogs are allowed on site Thursday to Sunday.
Is the trail wheelchair accessible?
The trail is step free, but some sections of the site have extremely steep slops and may need others to assist those in wheelchairs navigating the slops.
Illuminate said that turning on these hills may cause wheelchairs to tip, so staff will be on hand to help assist those at these specific locations.
Motorised scooters or wheelchairs are not recommended.
Are there refreshments?
Both hot and cold drinks will be available inside the trail as well as an Alpine village serving warm and cold meals and marshmallow toasting.
What should I wear?
The event will go ahead regardless of rain so it is important to check the weather before making the trip and dress appropriately.
