Ipswich Cineworld is set to host the regional premiere of a long-anticipated Hollywood blockbuster sequel this month.
The regional premiere of Gladiator II will be held in the IMAX screen at the Cardinal Park cinema on Wednesday, November 13, at 7.45pm.
Those attending will be able to see the film before it goes on general release across the country on Friday, November 15.
Prior to the screening cinema goers will also be able to see livestreamed red-carpet footage from the world premiere in central London.
Gladiator II is being screened in the capital as a Royal Film Performance at an undisclosed venue with members of the Royal Family expected to attend.
The sequel to Ridley Scott's original 2000 epic the film continues the story in Ancient Rome with Lucius (Paul Mescal) forced to enter the Colosseum years after his uncle has killed Maximus played by Russel Crowe in the original film.
Pedro Pascal, Joseph Quinn, Fred Hechinger, Lior Raz and Derek Jacobi, Connie Nielsen and Denzel Washington also star in the blockbuster.
