Several Suffolk restaurants have been recognised in a prestigious food guide.
The Good Food Awards has revealed its 2025 winners, celebrating independent business across the country for their culinary excellence.
Voted for by the public, Suffolk eateries have been recognise with both a Blue Ribbon accolade and a Gold Seal, which is awarded to those that have achieved high customer rating and votes for over three years.
The Grill At Twenty5 in Ipswich received a Gold Seal from the Good Food Awards which is bestowed upon businesses achieving consistently high customer ratings.
Spice Lounge in Mildenhall and Baltic Amber Restaurant and Bar in Haverhill both scooped Blue Ribbon Awards.
The Grazing Sheep in Ipswich was the only café in Suffolk to receive a Gold Seal award.
Bay Tree Café in Bury St Edmunds, Juniper Bar in Rendham and Jet Lounge@99 in Hadleigh all received a Blue Ribbon.
CodFellas in Ipswich and Aldeburgh Fish and Chip Shop were awarded a Gold Seal.
Owner of CodFellas, Ozzie Bozdag, says he has been running the chip shop since 2020 and recently thanked the local Chantry community for supporting him during a health break.
Mr Bozdag added: "I want to say, from the bottom of my heart, thank you.”
The Bell Inn in Rickinghall, The Bell Hotel in Saxmundham and The Hundon Plough have all received Blue Ribbons in the Gastro Pub category.
The owners of The Hundon Plough recently announced a temporary closure of the pub.
A statement on the pub's website states that although the pub is closed they are still accepting bookings for events via telephone or email.
