A drive thru for blue badge holders will be held to help more people enjoy the town's Christmas lights.
The event will take place on Sunday, December 1, and allow those who have booked tickets to will be able to drive along the pedestrianised town centre to look at the Christmas lights.
The route will see cars drive along Major's Corner and westwards along Carr Street, Tavern Street and Westgate Street.
This is available for blue badge holders to do between 6pm and 9pm.
Blue badge holders will need to book a free ticket for a time slot before they visit and only one is needed per vehicle.
It is asked that drivers stick to a 5mph speed limit and will not be allowed to stop.
A blue badge must be displayed in the front windscreen of the vehicle.
Tickets for the 6pm to 7pm slot are sold out, but blue badge holders may apply for tickets to drive thru the town between 7.30pm and 8.30pm.
The Christmas light switch on event in Ipswich will be from 4pm to 7:30pm on Sunday November 17.
