New convenience store set to come at Ipswich Waterfront

Work has been commencing at Albion Wharf in Ipswich, at the ground floor unit that was due to become Brewdog. 

The brewing company pulled out in December 2022, and the location has been vacant ever since.

Now, work is being done at the location with workers stating that the unit has been divided into two. 

Work is being done to install fridges for Londis. (Image: Shikhar Talwar) One side of it has fridges installed and it is understood that the location is meant to be a new Londis store, which will serve the residents of the nearby flats. 

The opening date of the Londis is not known as of yet.

The other half of the unit is currently housing many sofas, the purpose of which is still unknown.
