A former Suffolk police officer has been accused of sexual misconduct.
A misconduct hearing will take place next year into the allegations against former Police Constable Benjamin Hart.
The allegations say the former officer attended a ‘leaving do’ with a woman in Ipswich in April 2022 and allegedly had sex with her while she was "too intoxicated to consent to this sexual activity".
The summary of misconduct also alleges in September 2023 the former officer sent unwelcomed sexually inappropriate messages.
It is further alleged that following the sending of these messages, the former policeman sent more unwanted videos which were intended to be sexually suggestive.
It is alleged that this conduct breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour in three areas, authority, respect and courtesy, equality and diversity and discreditable conduct.
The hearing is set to take place in Landmark House on February 14, 2025.
