A charity quiz night has raised more than £2,200.
All About Hearing, a local hearing specialist, hosted the event on October 13 at the Kesgrave War Memorial Community Centre.
The event was organised by mother and son duo Karen Finch and Matthew Coward, and managed to raise £2,275 for the National Deaf Children’s Society.
The night saw 24 teams compete in a series of trivia challenges.
The winning team, Lyn-Less, led by Peter Knight, took home the £100 prize.
Matthew Coward, director for All About Hearing, said: “We’re thrilled with the turnout and the amount raised at our Charity Quiz Night.
“It was a fantastic evening filled with friendly competition and a real sense of community spirit.
"We’d like to thank everyone who participated, donated prizes, and helped make the event such a success.”
The funds raised will help provide support, information, and advice for deaf children and young people in the UK, as well as their families and the professionals working with them.
