The friend of an Ipswich man who has been missing for five days has issued a plea for him to come home.

Connor Wilson, who is 22, was reported missing on Friday after not returning home.

Luke Read, founder of fitness company Airborne Fit in Ipswich, said Mr Wilson told friends he would be home after kickboxing and didn't return.

Mr Wilson stayed for an hour long class between 6pm and 7pm and his last known correspondence or whereabouts is his Whatsapp online status which was timed at 7.40pm on Friday.

The 22-year-old lives with friends and Mr Read lives just next door.

Mr Read said: "Connor is a kind hearted lad, he's had an incredibly tough year but he has so many people around him who love him and just want him home.

"He is the best possible person, we are all just so worried about him.

"Connor, please, just come home."

A social media post searching for Mr Wilson has been shared 300 times.

It is believed Mr Wilson was last seen wearing black trousers, a black sweatshirt with white writing, black trainers and a black rucksack. He is described as a white male, at 5 feet 10 inches in height, and of a slim build.

He has not been seen at work.

Suffolk Police confirmed a missing person's report for Mr Wilson's has been filed.
