Taco Bell has revealed the opening date for its new restaurant.
An application to convert the former Carphone Warehouse unit in Anglia Retail Park in the north of the town was submitted in August 2022.
The proposal detailed an extension to the building, which has been vacant for nearly three years, to add a drive-thru lane while two parking spaces would be converted into waiting bays.
Following significant delays, signs for the new restaurant were put up at the end of August with roles for a general manager and assistant manager appearing on Indeed.

Taco Bell has announced the restaurant and takeaway will be opening its doors to customers on Tuesday, October 22.
The fast food chain also plans to open a second unit in the town.
Proposals submitted to Ipswich Borough Council show Taco Bell will take over the former Frankie & Benny's unit in Edith Cook Way in Ravenswood.
It is not yet known what will take over the neighbouring Chiquito unit after the restaurant closed at the end of last year.
