Quad bikes, chainsaws and a mini tractor worth more than £30,000 have been stolen in a suspected burglary.
Thieves targeted a workshop in the village of Semer, near Monks Eleigh, at the weekend, where two Honda petrol quad bikes, one Kawasaki petrol quad bike, two Husqvarna petrol chainsaws, one electric Stihl chainsaw and a Kubota mini tractor with front loading bucket were stolen.
A wood splitter stolen from an open barn.
The burglary is believed to have occurred between 9.30pm on Saturday, October 5 and 5.30am on Sunday, October 6.
Access was gained by cutting a padlock to the workshop which is within the grounds of a detached home.
A police spokesman said: "It is thought a large trailer/vehicle would have been needed to remove the stolen items, and as such it is very likely it was a planned burglary with the offenders having some prior knowledge of the items."
Police have requested that anyone who heard or saw any suspicious activity during the times stated, or knows the whereabouts of any of the items stolen should contact Suffolk police, quoting crime reference 37/56852/24.
