A driver was clocked travelling nearly twice the speed limit on an Ipswich road.
On Tuesday morning, a driver was caught travelling at 78mph in London Road, which has a speed limit of 40mph.
Police said a postal notice of intended prosecution will be sent to the registered owner of this vehicle.
The owner will have to provide the details of who was driving the vehicle and the individual will then be summoned to court.
This comes three weeks after two drivers were also caught speeding on the road at 72mph and 69mph.
Officers warned that this type of driving is extremely dangerous and that speeding is one of the 'fatal four' offences which pose a risk to drivers' lives.
