A man has been arrested in connection an assault near Ipswich Waterfront which led to a huge police presence descend on the area.
Police were called to Neptune Quay at Ipswich Waterfront at about 8.20pm on Thursday to reports of an altercation.
Witnesses say there were reports of loud screaming before a group of individuals were seen leaving the scene, with several police cars seen in the Duke Street area.

A man aged in his 20s was then arrested on suspicion of actual bodily harm, affray and racially aggravated harassment.
Police have confirmed a man aged in his 30s suffered minor injuries in the incident but they are not believed to have required medical attention.
Officers are asking any witnesses or anyone with information is asked to contact Suffolk police, quoting crime reference number 37/56332/24.
