A band from Ipswich which has seen success on music streaming platforms with their songs is the next act to be announced to perform at a fireworks event next month in the town.
AFTERDRIVE, made up of former One Sixth Form College students, Ben Watts, Ed Ruff and Luke Ellis, and Ben's brother Joe, has been announced to perform at the Ipswich Fireworks Festival in Trinity Park on Saturday, November 2.
The indie-rock band, which formed in early 2022, released their first single in March 2023 before going on to release a further four.
Across their five singles, the group has had their music streamed 171,402 times on Spotify.
AFTERDRIVE have also had one of their singles, Often, played nationally on BBC Radio 1 and Radio X.
They are the second act announced to perform at the Trinity Park Fireworks, following the news that award-winning and platinum selling artist Lemar will headline the show.
Also at the fireworks will be a large bonfire, a funzone, a number of street food stalls, a fairground and a licenced bar.
Tickets can be purchased online.
