A new Filipino restaurant has announced it will open by the end of the month following a refurbishment.

Los Bryant's Coffee and You has posted a sign in its windows that it will open in Carr Street in Ipswich by the end of September.

The new space has been undergoing a renovation since the new leasers took over the property after I Love Noodle closed in July this year.

Signs went up for the new restaurant at the start of this month, with the signage depicting the flag of the Philippines.

The opening of this new restaurant will mean the premises won't be vacant and closed for too long after the closure of the noodle bar, who took over the premises towards the end of 2022 after four years of it being left empty following the departure of sandwich chain Subway in 2018.

Subway left the premises following a fire and the eatery never reopened - despite signs being put up in the window announcing that it would be serving customers again soon.
