A new Turkish restaurant has officially opened to diners after months of renovation works.

Kervan Kitchen's Ipswich branch welcomed its first customers on September 2, and is based in the former Punch & Judy Pub in Cardinal Park.

The new restaurant, which specialises in Turkish food, has been fully decorated with new flooring, glass panels, foliage and lighting throughout the restaurant.

The entrance to the restaurant features beautiful flowers and water displays.

Kervan Kitchen also boasts a long bar where customers can order freshly made cocktails from, and a large kitchen area preparing a range of Turkish and Mediterranean foods.

Prior to opening, a spokesperson for Kervan Kitchen said: "We've chosen Ipswich as we thought it would be an amazing location to open a Kervan Kitchen, a true traditional Turkish restaurant that will not disappoint."

This is the fourth branch of Kervan Kitchen to open, the first in Suffolk, with Essex already having three successful branches.
