There were long delays on the A14 after a two-vehicle crash.
Emergency services were called to the eastbound carriageway near the Dock Spur Roundabout at about 3pm on Tuesday.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said a motorcyclist was involved in the crash.
Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service and the East of England Ambulance Service were called to assist at the scene.
The motorcyclist has suffered injuries but the extent is not yet clear, the spokesman confirmed.
The carriageway was blocked.
According to the AA Traffic Map the road is clear.
