A shopping centre which changed hands earlier this year is seeking new tenants.
Sailmakers in Ipswich's Tavern Street was sold at auction for £3.02m by its previous owner Nottingham-based ALB Group to an undisclosed new owner.
The site is home to Pandora, Boots, New Look, and Poundland, and was launched back in 1986. It is also home to a variety of other fashion, beauty, electronics, and everyday essentials retailers.
Ipswich Borough Council approved plans to create 26 new homes above the centre.
Penn Commercial and FHP have been appointed as agents to market its empty units.
They are working with asset managers Landswood de Coy LLP which works with "a diverse client base ranging from City institutional clients to property companies and private investors".
It provides asset management with "absolute discretion and confidentiality", according to its website.
The centre, which was extensively refurbished in 2017, has 112,084sq ft of covered retail and leisure space, on a 0.703-hectare (1.737-acre) site.
The centre also hosts occasional events and activities and is "an integral part of Ipswich's retail landscape, providing a vibrant and diverse shopping environment right in the town centre", said Penn Commercial.
Penn Commercial managing director Vanessa Penn said: “We are excited to be chosen to let the flexible, multi-purpose units in Sailmakers Shopping Centre, located in the heart of Ipswich’s busiest shopping thoroughfare.
“This popular retail destination will be reinvigorated under Landswood de Coy LLP’s new management, and we are looking forward to attracting new national and local retailers to our Premier League town.”
Landswood de Coy LLP managing partner Edward Schwab said: “Sailmakers is a strategically located retail destination that presents a number of value-add opportunities that we look forward to progressing together with Penn and FHP.”
FHP director Oliver Marshall said they were delighted to have been retained by Sailmakers’ new owners "to continue the good work started on attracting new operators to the Shopping Centre".
"Having worked successfully with the previous owners, we look forward to working with the new owners, who have exciting plans and a clear vision to breathe new life into the scheme,” he said.
