A town centre shop is set to be sold at auction this month for nearly half a million pounds.
The EE and BT shop in Tavern Street, next to Three and O2, will go up for auction on September 24.
The building, being sold by Allsop, has a guide price set of £450,000 to £475,000.
EE has been occupier in the building since 2007 and its current lease is set to expire in December 2028.
The building was sold prior to auction, however, for £300,000.
The new buyer has bought two adjoining mixed use buildings comprising ground floor commercial and three self-contained one-bedroom flats.
There is also four parking spaces included in the sale.
It is not yet known what the retail unit will be used for, with the new owner having the option to lease it out or use for their own business.
