Plans for eight homes in a village on the outskirts of Ipswich have been submitted.
Foundation Properties has lodged proposals with Mid Suffolk District Council for land at the former St John Ambulance Station in Duckamere, Bramford.
Both the vacant ambulance station and offices on the site would be demolished.
A planning statement said eight detached two-bed bungalows would be built.
Access to the site would be moved further along the road to a more central location on the development.
“The site is arranged around a central shared surface road with four dwellings placed on either side,” a planning statement said.
“All properties are provided with a detached garage set back from the frontage of the bungalows.”
The front two bungalows would face onto the road. Additional access points would be created for these roads if given the go-ahead.
“It is considered that the vehicle movement on and off the site will be reduced compared to the previous use,” the planning statement adds.
The application is expected to be determined by Thursday, November 7.
