Pictures have been released of a blaze that broke out at a Suffolk recycling centre this morning.

Bolton Bros, in Gipping Road in Great Blakenham, caught fire in the early hours on Tuesday.

It has been revealed by Suffolk Fire and Rescue service that the cause of the fire was an electrical fault.

Firefighters were called to the blaze at about 1.40am.

A total of 12 pumps attended from Ipswich East, Woodbridge, Princes Street, Needham Market, Stowmarket, Hadleigh and Haverhill.

The spokeswoman confirmed that the fire broke out in a single-storey building containing three fork lifts. 

Some crews remained at the scene this morning.

Woodbridge Fire Station attended with a command support vehicle (CSV).

The CSV takes command of the fire, and gives a point for the incident commander to gather information and coordinate actions.

A spokeswoman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that the fire broke out in a single-storey building containing three fork lifts. 

Suffolk Constabulary also attended the scene.
