The inside of an Ipswich town centre premises which has been vacant since 2020 has been fitted out and signs have gone up ahead of the opening of a new store.
Signs for the new Holland & Barrett in Tavern Street have gone up at the unit, while workers have been seen inside the premises fitting out the interior.
The store is opening in the former Carphone Warehouse unit, which has been empty since the retailer confirmed it was closing all of its physical standalone stores in March 2020.
Last month, Holland & Barrett shut its Buttermarket Shopping Centre branch ahead of the opening of the new store.
There is still one Holland & Barrett currently open in Ipswich, with the Westgate Street branch operating as normal.
Above the new shop in Tavern Street, flats have been approved to be built on the first and second floors.
An opening date for the new store is to be announced soon.
