A stunning garden, which is usually kept secret to members of the public, will be opening its doors to visitors this month.
The National Garden Scheme (NGS) gives unique access to private gardens across the country and it raises money for nursing and health charities through admissions, tea and cake.
Tickets can be purchased on the NGS website or, for most places, it will be possible to turn up on the day.
Now on Sunday, September 29, Holmwood Cottages in Polstead, between Sudbury and Hadleigh, will be open to members of the public.
There are many unusual plants to see in the garden with hot, sunny borders and areas of dappled shade planted to explore flower colour, foliage, texture, form, autumn interest and design principles.
There is also a variety of perennials, grasses, species and shrub roses, ferns and woodland plants, matrix and gravel planting.
Entry to the garden costs £5 for adults and children go free.
