There were long delays on the A14 due to a broken down lorry.
Police were at the scene of the incident in the eastbound carriageway at the Wherstead turn-off on Tuesday afternoon.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said a lorry suffered a tyre blow out.
This caused significant debris to be left on the carriageway.
The lorry was left in the entry slip of the A14 but the incident was causing serious delays.
