Two restaurants in Ipswich have been named as finalists for a major national food award.
Bistro in the Quay is in the running to be named Bistro/Cafe of the Year (South) while Tongs has been nominated for Best Oriental Establishment (South).
The finalists were announced earlier this week for the 9th Food Awards England which showcases the talent, dedication and passion displayed by eateries across the country.
The winners will be announced at a ceremony on October 7 with top professionals coming together to celebrate achievements in the food industry.

Bistro on the Quay is located on the Waterfront and offers a bistro-style menu with a French twist.
Diners can enjoy seasonal menus with dishes made using local Suffolk ingredients while looking out over the water.
The bistro was also a finalist for the same award last year.

Trongs is a Chinese restaurant which can be found in St Nicholas Street and has often been voted as one of the best in the town.
The menu offers traditional dishes available for dine in or takeaway.
Trongs has also been named as a finalist in English Restaurant Awards 2024.
