Dave Champion, Teamipswich head coach, said: "Each and every Teamipswich swimmer deserved to be at the Swim England Championships, the competition and qualification to be there is fierce.

"I am so proud of what every swimmer achieved and these four individuals in particular – Ashton, Ellen, Patch and Sophie – deserve special mention for their incredible medal success.

"They competed against the best of the best and came away with medals, personal best times and great recognition.

"They train so hard and deserve the success they have enjoyed - I am excited to see where these individuals will take it next."

Another Teamipswich swimmer, Charlie Ruddell picked up a bronze medal at the British Summer Swimming Championships, in the same venue, with his third place finish in the 200m breaststroke.
