A boy was left with bite marks on his back after being bitten by a dog in an Ipswich park.
The incident happened at about 11.55am on Monday in Ellenbrook Park.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk police said the victim as in the river area of the park when a dog, not on a lead, jumped up and bit the boy leaving teeth marks on his back.
The dog has been described as a large brown and black dog.
The owner of the dog has been described as a white man, in his early 30s with brown hair and facial hair.
Anyone who believes they may know the owner of the dog, or who has any information regarding this incident, is being asked to contact the Crime Coordination Centre, quoting reference: 37/44219/24.
