A teenager from Ipswich has scooped himself a bronze at a national swimming competition held in Sheffield last month.
Charlie Ruddell won the bronze medal at the recent British Swimming Summer Championships with his third place finish in the 200m breaststroke.
The 15-year-old is a member of Teamipswich at Crown Pools, and was one of many swimmers from the Ipswich based club to compete at the tournament.
The competition was held at Ponds Forge International Sports Centre in Sheffield over the course of six days.
Dave Champion, Teamipswich head coach, said: "Charlie completely deserves this fantastic bronze medal.
"He put in an incredible swim in the final showing the true spirit of the competitor he has become.
"A fabulous personal best time of 2.24.99 reflects the level he is racing at and I am so proud of what he is achieving and demonstrates his dedication to his training and competing.
"Well done Charlie!."
