A food festival offering cuisine from the Caribbean is coming to Ipswich this month. 

Taste of the Caribbean is being held at Bourne Park in Ipswich on Saturday, August 24 from 10am until 4pm.

Here is everything you need to know ahead of the festival. 

How much do tickets cost? 

Tickets cost £17 for adults and £7 for children under 14. 

A VIP ticket is available for £35 and includes fast-track entry to the festival, as well as access to a premium bar. 

All tickets are non-refundable - unless the event is postponed or cancelled.

Well-behaved dogs on leads can also come to the event.

Can I bring my own food and drink?

More than 25 of the UK's best restaurants and street food vendors will be serving up dishes from all of the islands in the Caribbean. 

Bringing food from outside the festival is prohibited but allergy information will be available from traders on the day.

Visitors are allowed to bring their own fold-up chairs. 

Will I need cash? 

Traders will accept both cash and card payments but bringing cash is advised in case card payment systems go down. 

There will be no cash points on the event site.

How do I get to the event? 

The address for satnavs is Bourne Park, Ipswich, IP2 8LU. 

The event organisers have said there will be no customer parking available at the site so visitors should walk or use public transport. 

The closest bus stop to the park is Blyth Close, with the 15 and 15A lines running there.

Ipswich railway station is the closest for visitors travelling by train.
