A bar in Ipswich has been granted permission by the council to stay open and serve alcohol until as late as 4am at the weekend.
Supper Club in Tacket Street in Ipswich has had its premises licence changed to stay open to a later time.
Previously the bar's licence allowed activity until 2.30am on Thursday to Saturday evenings, 11pm on Monday to Wednesday and until midnight on Sunday.
The new licence permits the bar to stay open until 4am on Friday and Saturday evenings and until 1.30am on Sunday to Wednesday nights.
There is no change to Thursday's opening hours.
Live music inside the venue needs to stop by 2am on Thursday to Saturday, but recorded music is permitted until closing.
Alcohol is allowed to be served throughout opening hours on each of the days, but service will stop 30 minutes before closing time.
The licence has been allowed with mediation from Suffolk police which has specified conditions which must be followed by the bar - including proof of ID, incident logs being kept, CCTV system being maintained and there must be no less than two door staff on Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10pm.
