A new festival with live music and street food is coming to a village near Ipswich.

CopFest is taking over Copdock and Old Ipswichian Cricket Club on Saturday, September 21.

The new live music festival is a fundraising event expected to last for 12 hours from 1pm until 1am.

Nine local acts have been confirmed for live performances throughout the day including Pop Sonic, Jazmine Honey Banks and The Fantones.

Visitors can also experience a culinary adventure with street food from around the world.

There will also be a wide range of artisan stalls selling unique handmade jewellery, vibrant paintings and bespoke clothing.

Those wishing to stay even longer at the event can camp overnight in the camping pitches and enjoy a breakfast barbecue in the morning.

A spokesman for CopFest said: "This is your event and we want to involve as many local residents, club members, players, friends and families as possible."

Early bird tickets cost £30 for adults and £10 for children.
