A Tesco Express in east Ipswich has reopened following a two-week refurbishment.

The store, which is located in Nacton Road, has reopened after it was the latest Tesco store in Suffolk to undergo a refurbishment.

Over the last couple of weeks, the store has been closed with fencing around the outside of the building while work was undertaken.

A Tesco spokesperson said: "Our Nacton Road Express is now open and ready to welcome back customers following a store refresh.

"The store has had new fridges and shelves fitted and has also undergone a redecoration to improve the shopping experience for customers."

The Nacton Road store is the latest in Suffolk to be given a face lift, with the Norwich Road Express branch also receiving a refurbishment last month and being closed for several weeks.

Opening times at the Nacton Road branch remain the same - with the store operating from 6am to 11pm every day.
