A pedestrian is receiving treatment after a collision with a car on a busy Ipswich road.
Suffolk police were called by the East of England ambulance service on Wednesday to Wherstead Road.
They received the call shortly before 11.30am, to attend the scene where Wherstead Road meets Rapier Street following a collision involving a pedestrian and car.
An ambulance and a rapid response vehicle were called to Wherstead Road Ipswich following reports of a pedestrian injured in a road traffic collision.
One girl was assessed and treated at the scene, but not taken to hospital, the East of England Ambulance Service have said.
AA Traffic reports the road is partially blocked and there is heavy traffic.
